SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
| Course Objectives: | The main aim of this course is to introduce the fundamental concepts, theories, and methods of political psychology, and to develop students’ ability to analyze the political behavior of individuals, groups, and societies from a psychological perspective. |
| Course Content: | The course will cover key factors influencing political decision-making, including obedience, leadership, personality, cognition, and emotions, as well as voter behavior, political communication, intergroup relations, and social identity. It will also examine issues such as nationalism, ethnic conflict, racism, political intolerance, and political violence from a psychological perspective. |
| Students are expected to complete the weekly readings and actively participate in class discussions. |
