| Course Objectives: |
The aim of this course is to equip Interior Architecture and Environmental Design students with the knowledge of visual communication, graphic design, composition, and hierarchy necessary to transform their design ideas into effective, legible, and professional presentation boards. Within the scope of the course, students are expected to develop a presentation language that accurately conveys the design process in conceptual, visual, and technical terms, to consciously apply graphic systems used in project representation, and to become familiar with academic and professional presentation standards. |
| Course Content: |
This course focuses on the production of presentation boards and concept boards within the framework of basic design principles, visual perception, and graphic communication theories. The course content includes:
• Visual hierarchy and grid systems,
• Color theory,
• The translation of diagrams, sketches, schemes, and technical drawings into presentation formats,
• Concept development and methods of conceptual narration,
• Board layout, scale, use of negative space, and narrative structure,
• Digital presentation tools and printing techniques.
The course is conducted through a combination of theoretical instruction and applied board production exercises, and supports students in developing an original presentation language tailored to their own design projects. |
