SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to enable students to understand the fundamental concepts of packaging and sustainability and to evaluate packaging systems in terms of environmental impacts, life cycle thinking, and sustainable development principles. |
| Course Content: | This course covers the concepts of packaging and sustainability, bio-based and renewable packaging materials, life cycle thinking, sustainable packaging design, environmental footprint assessment parameters of packaging systems, and sustainable packaging applications for food products. |
| As course requirements, students are expected to attend classes, actively participate in in-class discussions and assessments, complete their assignments on time, and check their emails daily through the OIS. |
