SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: It is intended that health technicians will be able to intervene in any situation that may jeopardize the life that they may encounter within the context of first aid.
Course Content: First aid in shock and fainting, Types of injuries and regional injuries, First aid, First aid, First aid, ABC rule and basic life support, Removal of foreign objects escaping airway, Stopping bleeding types and bleeding, , Spinal injuries, First aid in broken sprains and sprains, Types of burns and first aid, Types of poisoning and first aid, Hot strikes and first aid in freezing, Patient and injured transport forms

Know individual and organizational communication principles. It has knowledge about quality development and quality standards. 5 Emergency patient evaluation; Know primary and secondary examination principles. 6 Know patient transportation methods. 7 Know simple recovery / extraction techniques in traffic accidents. 8 Has knowledge about the mechanical and technical equipment of emergency vehicles. 9 Has basic knowledge about human anatomy, physiology, pathology fields

  3) In case of sudden illness or injury, they can quickly reach the scene, evaluate the situation with the doctor if necessary, make the first intervention if necessary, and provide the correct method to the appropriate hospital emergency room. 2 The patient has the ability to position the patient or the injured person appropriately during transport. 3 Understand and apply simple recovery / extraction techniques in traffic accidents. 4 Has the knowledge and skill to protect and maintain the physical and mental health at the highest level.
  4) Being aware of individual awareness by developing oneself in social and cultural sense 2 Being a contemporary individual with the knowledge of Turkish language and the ability to use the language and having the knowledge of foreign languages ​​to follow professional developments. 3 Communicates verbally and in writing with patient, patient relatives and other health professionals. 4 In case of emergency aid, it uses the knowledge and skill to protect both the patient and himself psychologically and socially.
