SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE |
Course Objectives: | Students who successfully complete this course can interpret the photographic tool as an artistic expression; will be able to develop designs by determining a new perspective and way of seeing, designing it with the narrative power of photography, and making fictional and experimental applications on the axis of the determined subject / subjects. |
Course Content: | Definition of photography as a contemporary art, visual perception and ways of seeing, framing and composition, reality and formality, reading photography based on depth of field, use of basic forms of light, philosophy of experimental and fictional photography, semiotics and photography, relation between postmodernism and photography, technology and The effects of digitalization on photography The student's production and presentation of a project / projects based on the given / selected subject constitutes the content of the course. |
