SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: This course is designed to understand management quality and quality management systems, and to analyze how we can make quality sustainable in the context of strategic management and leadership. Within the framework of KalDer's work in the field of quality and excellence, topics such as international standards (ISO 9001, EFQM Model, etc.), process management, continuous improvement, risk management and sustainability will be discussed. The course aims to contribute to the development of systematic approaches to increasing management quality by providing a balance between theory and practice.
Course Content: This course focuses on systematic approaches to enhancing management quality and understanding quality management systems. Topics include international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and the EFQM Excellence Model, along with process management, continuous improvement, risk management, and sustainability. Within the context of strategic management and leadership, the course explores the development of a quality culture and integrates insights from KalDer’s work in quality and excellence in Turkey. Theoretical knowledge is reinforced through case studies and practical applications, aiming to equip participants with quality-oriented thinking skills applicable in organizational settings.

Course Specific Rules

Course Method
The course, which will be conducted jointly with the KalDer Association management, will be held with the participation of relevant professional professionals and KalDer Trainers within the scope of weekly topics. The course will be conducted in an interactive environment with subject explanations, Q&A and case studies.
 Courses will be held face to face and attendance and active participation are mandatory.
 Depending on the availability of trainers coming from KalDer, the weekly course of topics may vary.

  1) 6. By recognizing the data-based management approach, be able to explain the basic components of performance measurement systems and decision-making processes.
