PROGRAMME EDUCATİONAL OBJECTİVES (PEOs)

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) are the those describing what the graduates are expected to attain or achieve in their academic and/or professional life after a few years of graduation. In this context, Programme Educational Objectives defined for this programme are as follows:

1	To enable students to have strong theoretical background and develop an interdisciplinary perspective.
2	To provide opportunities for students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and to acquire research and clinical experience in different fields of psychology, to train psychologists who work within ethical principles, make unprejudiced and non-discriminatory professional assessment.
3	To train psychologists who are knowledgeable in different subfields of psychology and have research skills such as data collection, analysis and interpretation, who can evaluate human development taking into account both individual and social variables.
4	To train open-minded psychologists that are eager to learn, follow the developments in the field of psychology and who can think scientifically and critically.
5	To enable students to gain awareness of fulfilling their responsibilities and to improve their ability to work independently.
6	To train psychologists with high leadership, communication skills, social sensitivity, who can contribute to the solution of social problems.
