Course Objectives: |
The student who takes this course; Analyzes, solutions, and designs spaces within the scope of contemporary interior architecture and environmental design problems. It develops innovative ideas, creates a design problem, and manages the design process, designs the space considering the anatomical, psychological, physical capacity and tolerances of the user, transfers the design or idea to paper, applies the theoretical knowledge acquired in design techniques, transfers the design to the drawing in scale, summarize all development processes. |
Course Content: |
In the content of this course, the problems that concern today in the field of interior design, analysis of contemporary problems in interior design, design principles, strategies and methods, space and organization relations, interior design, light, color, texture, anthropometric dimensions in human-furniture relations, building and designing fixed reinforcement and furniture in line with the characteristics of the interior space, user profile and functional program, reinforcement placement according to the degree of occupancy-space, space organization, space setup, 1/50 plan, section, sketch models, interior perspectives, reinforcement designs, 1/10 , 1/20 drawings are included. |
