SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The student who takes this lesson transfers the plan or idea in his mind to the paper. Transfers a building, an interior or a furniture to the drawing in accordance with the perspective rules. He can use the necessary materials to visualize an interior he draws with color, material and texture.
Course Content: The content of this course includes the importance and development of drawing art, the importance and use of sketching technique in architecture, line, measurement knowledge and proportion, perspective drawing knowledge and its types, light, shadow, toning, coloring, texture and materials.

Course Specific Rules

- Firstly, using pencils and paper may place different types of drawing tools and equipment after placing the objects correctly on the paper.

  1) Can use advanced theoretical and applied knowledge in the field.
  2) Using the advanced knowledge and skills acquired in the field, they can analyze data and develop solutions based on research and evidence.
  3) Can remember and apply intellectual, artistic, cultural, scientific and technological knowledge in the field of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)

1) Introduction, importance, purpose and content of the lesson; Introduction of the materials used in the lesson. Showing the types of sketches and their intended use; Determining students' drawing knowledge with simple drawing exercises. Examination of drawing examples with visual presentations.
2) Use of pen and paper and the use of paper surface; the placement of objects according to the paper space, axis line and drawing applications of basic geometric forms with measurement technique. Light-shadow and toning applications. Showing examples of forming objects according to basic geometric forms. - Drawing exercises:
3) Vision, Perspective knowledge and introduction to the types of perspective; Basic elements of perspective drawing, Horizon line, Escape Points, Axis line, Ground plane; Drawing exercises of basic geometric forms; One and two point perspective types. Single and double point perspective applications. - Example of a selected interior, architectural structure and the environment of the transparent drawing on the photo. -Example of interior space (single and double escape)
4) Axonometric perspective and its types; usage areas; Transforming the appearance of various objects into an axonometric perspective; Examining case studies and application studies. Applications related to conversion of 2d dimensional surfaces to 3 dimensions.
5) Double point perspective and basic drawing rules; Environmental, architectural structure and interior perspective drawing applications. Light and shadow applications and coloring.
6) Coloring and shading of architectural structure and surroundings, interior drawing applications with perspective of double point perspective technique. - Drawing of geometric shapes, outer and inner surfaces in plan, section and appearance. - Plan applications with free hand measurement technique.
7) Drawing applications of interior space by using double point perspective technique; Light-shading and coloring of interior drawings.

9) Architectural structure according to single-point perspective technique and drawing of its surroundings. Coloring of the drawn pictures.
10) - Drawing the perspective of a single perspective perspective and interior perspective; Light - shadow and coloring of drawings. Preliminary work: Furniture or interior drawing.
11) Exploded perspective type and applications.
12) Plan perspective; Interior and furniture sketches. Sketch applications with coloring and shading techniques.
13) Interior and furniture sketches. Sketch applications with coloring and shading techniques.
14) File delivery and General evaluation.
