SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The objectives of this course are; defining the design, drawing and application phases in interior design practice, informing the students regarding the project management issue and its processes, describing the lists and written documents of a Project Set and having the students prepare these documents for given examples.
Course Content: Design, drawing and application phases; Project management; Quantity, measurement, tender, unit price; Lists and written documents; Construction and application phases; Contract Package.

Course Specific Rules

1. Regular attendance is required.
2. The students are responsible for gathering the information that has been covered during their unattended classes.
3. All the project studies, assignments and homeworks should be prepared by the students themselves.
3. All the project studies, assignments and homeworks should be submitted within the specified time frame.

  1) Defines the project management stages, describes the important actors and processes
  2) Designs a small scale interior, specifies the materials, systmes and applications and generates the contract package with all its documents.
