SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed to develop creative and original ideas by using design knowledge for determining limiting factors for Interior Architecture space designs.
Course Content: In this course, there are limited space definitions, multifunctional function application solutions in restricted spaces, research, discussion and applications for space constraints and solutions in private and general usage areas.

  1) It defines the relevant national and international laws, regulations and universal design principles.
Skills (Describe as Cognitive and/or Practical Skills.)
  1) Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in design techniques.
  2) It designs by considering the anatomical, anthropometric characteristics, psychological and physical capacities and tolerances of the user.
  3) Effectively uses Autocad program in technical drawing language.
Competences (Described as "Ability of the learner to apply knowledge and skills autonomously with responsibility", "Learning to learn"," Communication and social" and "Field specific" competences.)
  1) Gains the ability to analyze and solve problems and manage conflicts.
  2) By supporting what they have learned with quantitative and qualitative data; transfers to groups in and out of the field in a systematic and impressive manner by using written, verbal and visual communication tools.
