SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to introduce students with the creative thinking approach that benefits the work life.
Course Content: In the course, the basic principles and processes of creativity will be examined. Problem solving, brainstorming, aesthetics, artistic development, fluent thinking and sensory experience will be discussed with examples from the works of people who pioneered innovations in art, science and business. Creative methods such as multi-perspective analytical thinking and design thinking will be examined for problem solving skills in business life.

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs)

Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) are those describing the knowledge, skills and competencies that students are expected to achieve upon successful completion of the course. In this context, Course Learning Outcomes defined for this course unit are as follows:

  1) Developing a creative analytical approach for problem solving and entrepreneurship in work life
  2) Learning the thinking processes between creative thinking and the act of doing
