Founder Trust of Beykoz University is Türkiye Lojistik Araştırmaları ve Eğitimi Vakfı (Turkey Logistics Researches and Education Foundation.)
Turkey Logistics Researches and Education Foundation was established on July 18, 2007 at Beykoz by a group of profession experts and academicians with the goal of carrying out qualified and scientific researches and publications aimed at logistics sector, to contribute the professional and behavioral development of the human resource employed at the sector and to establish a higher education institution which will provide qualified human resource for the sector.
Setting from the goal of establishment, the foundation put the Beykoz Logistics Vocational School into effect in 2008 and this vocational school graduated more than 7 thousand people who have the competencies the sector needs until the establishment of the university and satisfied a need of the sector for educated human resource in a considerable way.
While Turkey Logistics Researches and Education Foundation was carrying out the activity of the vocational school, it completed the works carried out to establish an epitome of a university which has distinctness within international standards and founded Beykoz University on September 7, 2016. The legal entity of Beykoz Logistics Vocational School then was ended and it was joined with Beykoz University.
