SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the Introduction to Sustainability course is to develop an ecological perspective that protects the right to life of other living things and ecosystems, in the era of climate crisis we are in, is seen as a citizenship consciousness. It aims to raise awareness about the necessities of social life.
Course Content: In this course, concepts and topics such as ecological literacy, sustainability, the principle of interdependence in nature and human relations, climate crisis, global warming, carbon footprint, sustainability problems in the field of energy and food, consumption culture and waste problem, environmental justice are environmental issues in different parts of the world. topics will be covered.
