Aviation Management Bachelor’s Degree Program Profile
The Aviation Management Bachelor’s Degree Program is positioned at the intersection of transportation services and business-administrative sciences and is structured in line with the Bologna Process and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The program’s level and field classifications are defined in Beykoz University’s information systems and ECTS Information Package in alignment with national and international qualification frameworks.
The program has an academically oriented structure that integrates the dynamic nature of the aviation sector with the theoretical foundations of business and management. It adopts an interdisciplinary perspective covering air transportation, airport management, aviation operations, safety and security, along with core business functions such as management, accounting, finance, marketing, and human resources.
The program targets students interested in aviation who aim to develop analytical and critical thinking skills and adapt to global competition. It is designed considering technological developments, international regulations, and the importance of safety, security, and sustainability. In this context, academic knowledge is linked with sectoral and global dynamics.

Program-Specific Criteria
PSC-1: Integration of aviation operations and core business functions is ensured through courses such as Introduction to Civil Aviation, Airline Management, Passenger Services, Ground Handling Services, Airport Systems, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, and Strategic Management.
PSC-2: Quantitative analytical skills are developed through Mathematics, Statistics, Meteorology, and related courses.
PSC-3: Application of theoretical knowledge is supported through Air Cargo and Dangerous Goods, Flight Operations, Weight, Balance and Performance, Aviation Safety, Aviation Security, Emergency Planning and Crisis Management, and Internship.
PSC-4: Interdisciplinary perspective is provided through Aircraft Knowledge, Air Navigation Systems, Air Traffic Control Services, Aircraft Maintenance Management, Human Factors in Aviation, and Crew Resource Management.
PSC-5: Safety, security, sustainability, and compliance are addressed through Aviation Safety, Aviation Security, Aircraft Accident Investigation, Civil Aviation Regulations, and Sustainability Management in Aviation.
