SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to introduce discrete mathematical structures that provide background for computational theory.
Course Content: Basic logic concepts, sets, functions; mathematical reasoning, relations, graphs, tree structures, algebraic structure, logical algebra.

Course Specific Rules

Students taking this course are required to:
1) Participate in classes.
2) Have a suitable notebook and materials such as pencils, erasers, etc. to take notes.
