SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: In today’s business life, achieving success requires individuals to evaluate complex situations with a critical, creative, and multidimensional perspective. This course aims to develop students’ problem-solving, empathy, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and analytical thinking skills, thereby enabling them to make more conscious, flexible, and effective decisions in their professional lives.
Course Content: Within the scope of the course, topics such as emotional intelligence, empathy, communication, perception management, and creativity techniques are addressed in order to improve students’ creative thinking and problem-solving skills in business life. In addition, teamwork, stress and crisis management, negotiation, and decision-making processes are covered. A holistic perspective on business life is provided through approaches related to artificial intelligence, motivation, and ethics in the digital age.

Course Specific Rules

As course requirements, students are expected to attend classes, actively participate in in-class discussions and evaluations, complete their assignments within the given timeframe, and check their e-mails on OIS on a daily basis.
