Bu ders, öğrencilerin okuma, yazma, dinleme ve konuşma alanlarında temel akademik İngilizce becerilerini geliştirmelerine yardımcı olmayı amaçlar. Ders, kısa akademik metinleri anlama, basit akademik kelimeleri kullanma ve fikirleri açık bir şekilde ifade etmeye odaklanır. |
| Course Content: |
Features of academic English (formal language, structure, tone),
Reading short academic paragraphs and identifying main ideas,
Summarizing simple information from texts,
Building academic vocabulary and using it in short sentences,
Writing short paragraphs on familiar topics,
Using linking words (first, because, however, in conclusion),
Listening to short academic talks and taking simple notes,
Giving short spoken answers and mini-presentations,
Introduction to basic citation (using author names or sources),
Working in pairs and small groups to share academic ideas |
