SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: To learn to plan any scenario, story, idea or event by drawing it in accordance with the language of the film (storyboard), To draw the scenes in accordance with the animation technique on the light table, to transfer the drawings to digital media and to learn how to make them applicable in the digital environment.
Course Content: Scenario, storyboard, an applied view of animation processes. Animation applications from classical to digital in workshop environment with materials such as paper, pencil, light table, computer.

  1) Students advance the principles of creating frame-by-frame and interpolated motion, and have the correct terminology.
  2) Students will be able to solve design and technical problems in traditional animation.
  3) Students gain the ability to use motion design as a means of expression and improve their character animation skills.

  1) At the end of the lesson, each student will have a portfolio of 2D animation works in which they apply the 12 principles.
