PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

Programme Educational Objectives are the those describing what the graduates are expected to attain or achieve in their academic and/or professional life after a few years of graduation. In this context, Programme Educational Objectives defined for this programme are as follows:

1	It is aimed that graduates acquire the ability to effectively utilize their knowledge of the fundamental components of rail systems (such as infrastructure, superstructure, rolling stock, signaling, energy systems, etc.) and the operational principles and characteristics of various rail transport modes (such as metro, tram, suburban rail, freight trains, etc.) within operational processes (in accordance with THEQF field knowledge).
2	It is aimed that graduates possess the competency to implement the fundamental processes of passenger and freight transport operations in rail systems, as well as the ability to analyze challenges encountered during these processes and develop effective solutions (in accordance with THEQF application and analysis skills).
3	It is aimed that graduates develop into responsible individuals who embrace the importance of safety, security, and quality standards in rail systems management, and who are committed to professional ethical principles and the pursuit of a sustainable future.
4	It is aimed that graduates contribute to harmonious and productive working environments by developing the skills to communicate effectively with various stakeholders in rail systems management (such as passengers, colleagues, managers, etc.) and by fostering collaboration within teams
5	It is aimed that graduates acquire the competency to identify unexpected situations and operational disruptions that may arise in rail systems management, and to develop effective problem-solving and decision-making skills through analytical thinking.
6	It is aimed that graduates adopt the principle of lifelong learning by keeping up with technological advancements and innovations in the rail systems sector, and continuously develop their professional knowledge and skills to adapt to the industry.
