QUALITY ASSURANCE AND LEGAL BASIS

Quality Assurance

The quality assurance processes of the program are carried out in accordance with the Bologna Process, the student-centered learning approach, and the principles of continuous improvement (Plan–Do–Check–Act cycle). Within this framework:

  • Program Learning Outcomes are defined in alignment with the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) and the Qualifications Framework for the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA),
  • Course Learning Outcomes are mapped to Program Learning Outcomes and are regularly reviewed,
  • Course plans, ECTS workload calculations, and assessment methods are structured based on the student workload principle,
  • Student feedback, graduate tracking studies, and stakeholder opinions are taken into account in the monitoring and revision of the program,
  • The educational processes of the program are periodically evaluated and reported within the scope of the university’s internal quality assurance system.
  • Through these processes, consistency, transparency, and sustainability are ensured among the program objectives, learning outcomes, and implementation practices.

 

Legal Basis

The structure of the program, its learning outcomes, assessment and evaluation processes, and quality assurance practices are based on the following legal and regulatory frameworks:

  • Higher Education Law No. 2547,
  • Regulations and decisions of the Council of Higher Education (CoHE),
  • Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF),
  • Qualifications Framework for the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA),
  • Principles of the Bologna Process,
  • Regulations, directives, and Senate decisions of Beykoz University.

Within this framework, the program is implemented in a manner that is compliant with national legislation and international higher education standards, with clearly defined quality assurance mechanisms and an approach open to continuous improvement.
