SECTION II: INTRODUCTION TO THE COURSE

Course Objectives & Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide the students as citizens who are sensitive to the environment and have social responsability consciousness and produce projects.
Course Content: In this course the students learn the aim and the tools of making a social responsabilty project, the steps of a social responsabillity project.

1) To have detailed information about the research processes and apply it on projects.
2) To use theoretical and applied information on public relations, advertising, communication sciences and other social sciences collectively and incordinate.
3) To be capable of planning advertising and public relations campaigns, brand management and develop marketing strategies.
4) To have academic and theoretic information about public relations, advertising, marketing and other social sciences; be well informed about literature, cultural history, art, sociology and psychology.
5) Planning, applying and measuring public relations and advertisng campaigns.
6) To develop, to conduct an organization and to coordinate the organization team.
7) To use the existing sources and create alternative sources to develop an event and to make for sponsorship.
8) As a team member takes responsabilty and get along with duties.
9) Enforces employees' personal and professional facilities, who is working under his responbility,
10) Independently performs a basic public relations project.
11) Follows the developments and literature on public relations area.
12) Takes risk and responsability using the innovative applicaitons and technologies on public relations area.

15) Determines his profesional and personal learning needs and continuosly develops his self using life time learning options.
16) Guides the people under his responsibility to identify their learning needs and professional development.
17) Transfers the basic information on public relations area by verbal and written communication.
18) Transfers the outcomes of his public relations projects, his thoughts and solution proposals to both specialists and non specialists by using verbal and visual communication tools.
19) Uses his native language minimum C1 general level European Language Portfolio.
20) Communicates with professional colleagues using a foreign language (English) minimum A2 general level European Language Portfolio
21) Uses informatics and communication technologies together with computer software necessary for the field with at least European Computer Usage License Basic (Advanced) Level.
22) Organizes and implements projects and activities for his/her social environment with a sense of social responsibility.
23) Act in accordance with social, scientific, cultural and ethic values on the stages of gathering, implementation and release of the results of data related to public relations.
24) Has sufficient consciousness about the global social rights, social justice and cultural values; respect to the cultural diversity
25) Executes the health & safety, environmental protection, quality and ongoing process improvement procedures, which are required in the field of public relations.
